Highlights:
- We started our morning off with Maker Space! We continued our exploration with the code-a-pillars by using cards that had a coding sequence on it. We then used the code to discover what it made the code-a-pillar do. Ask me what my favourite coding function is.
- For PE, we played a gymnastics challenge. We had to practice skills like balance and different travels. Ask me which one was my favourite.
- For Math, we did our Math rotations. We practiced the different strategies we have been learning for multiplication and division. Ask me what my favourite rotation was.
- In Literacy, we are starting to learn how to do cursive writing! Today we learned how to create the lowercase letters c, a, d, q, and g. Ask me to show you how to create them.
Reminders:
- Monday is Nature Day Spirit Day. Students are welcome to dress like they are ready to explore nature!
- Next week for Environmental Week we are encouraging students to bring litterless lunches and also walk or wheelie to school.
- Friday, April 21 is Wear Blue or Green day.
