Highlights:
- This morning, we talked about recycling, composting, and garbage at NLS. We are preparing for our Environmental Week coming up. We discussed how we are going to try and have litterless lunches in the upcoming week.
- For Math, we worked on division questions that include a remainder. We used counters to help us solve different problems.
- For PE, we practiced jumps and lands. We learned the importance of landing safely. After, we created gymnastics sequences that included the different skills we have been learning.
- For Social Studies, we started to plan a trip to the Ukraine! We used our research skills to look at different topics such as the climate, traditional foods, and tourist attractions. Ask me what is something that I discovered in my research.
Reminders:
- Next week is Environmental Week! Students are encouraged to have litterless lunches and also walk or wheel to school if possible.
