Highlights:
- Today in Math we learned about writing fractions on a number line. We looked at how to order them from smallest to greatest. Ask me to put 1/4, 3/4, 2/4, 0, and 1 on a number line.
- In Literacy, we learned about the different genres. We focused on 4 different ones today (historical fiction, realistic fiction, myth, and mystery). We were given different books to sort and had to decide which genre it was!
- In PE, it was our first day of Drum Fit! We had a great time following along with Mr. Newton.
- In Music, we learned two new terms, crescendo and decrescendo. Ask me what this means.
- During Science, we learned about the different materials that could be used when building. Ask me what some of the materials were and their properties.
Reminders:
- Wednesday is Hats on for Mental Health! Students are welcome to wear a hat in school that day.
- Little Caesaers is May 3 for those that ordered.
- There is no school on Friday.
