Highlights:
- This morning in Math, we learned how to use the Break It Apart strategy to solve addition equations that require regrouping. Ask me to solve 45 + 38= using this strategy.
- In Literacy, we read the final book in Aaron Becker's wordless series. Ask me how the story ended!
- In PE, we did scooter curling. Ask me what the rules for the game were!
- February is Black History Month. We read a story called Meet Viola Desmond. Ask me what are three things that I learned about her.
- Today in Makerspace, we used the loose parts to create a map of Peru. We had to show the different regions as best as we could.
Reminders:
- COMMUNITY WALK: We were unable to go on our community walk this afternoon due to the temperature dropping to -21 with the windchill. We have postponed the walk to tomorrow afternoon where the temperature should be better and acceptable for going out.
