Thursday, September 1

Highlights:

  • Today we started our day with Morning Work and learning some expectations for grade 3! After that we read the book 'First Day Jitters', ask me what the twist in the story was! 
  • Then we had snack and recess, ask me if I made any new friends!
  • After recess we did 'Math About Me', ask me what number sentences I included in my work. We had a few extra minutes so we read a Robert Munsch book called 'Class Clown' 
  • This afternoon we saved our friend Fred! It was most of our favourite part of the day.  Ask me what the challenge was and if my group was successful or not! 

Reminders:

  • Tomorrow dismissal is at 1:05pm.
  • Please send indoor shoes
  • Please send water bottles
